KK Seoul Clinic (“the Clinic”) values your personal information and complies with the “Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection”. The following outlines the measures implemented to protect your personal information. If the Clinic amends this Privacy Policy, the changes will be announced through the website notice page (or individual notifications). This Policy takes effect on November 1, 2025. Personal Information Collected The Clinic collects the following personal information for membership registration, online consultations, and service applications. Information collected: • *User ID • *Name • *Password • *Mobile phone number • *Email address • *Domain • *Cookies • *The first 7 digits of the Resident Registration Number (date of birth & gender alternative) Collection methods: Website and mobile application (membership sign-up), Online inquiry/consultation Purpose of Collecting and Using Personal Information The Clinic uses the collected personal information for the following purposes. Fulfillment of service contracts and provision of services, including content delivery, purchase and payment processing, and shipment of goods or billing materials; Identity verification for financial transactions and management of users of financial services; Identity verification and personal identification for membership-based services; Prevention of fraudulent or unauthorized use by malicious users; Confirmation of membership intent, age verification, handling of complaints and customer inquiries, and delivery of notices; Marketing and advertising purposes, including delivery of event and promotional information, analysis of access frequency, and statistics on users’ service utilization. Retention and Use Period of Personal Information In principle, the Clinic destroys personal information without delay once the purpose of its collection and use has been fulfilled. However, when it is necessary to retain information in accordance with relevant laws and regulations, the Clinic will store such information for the period prescribed by those laws, as follows: Items Retained: Payment records, consultation records Legal Basis for Retention: Records related to contracts or withdrawal of subscription Retention Period: 3 years Records related to contracts or withdrawal of subscription: 5 years (Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce) Records related to payment and supply of goods: 5 years (Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce) Records related to consumer complaints or dispute resolution: 3 years (Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce) Procedures and Methods of Destroying Personal Information The Clinic destroys personal information without delay once the purpose of collection and use has been fulfilled. The destruction procedures and methods are as follows: Destruction Procedures Information entered by users for membership registration or other services is transferred to a separate database (or stored in a separate physical file for paper documents) once the purpose of collection has been fulfilled. In accordance with internal policies and relevant laws (see Retention and Use Period), it is stored for a certain period and then destroyed. Personal information transferred to a separate database is not used for any purpose other than retention unless required by law. Personal information stored in electronic file format is deleted using technical methods that make the records irrecoverable. Provision of Personal Information The Clinic does not, in principle, provide users’ personal information to external parties. However, exceptions may apply when users have given prior consent, or when the provision of information is required by law or requested by investigative authorities in accordance with the procedures and methods prescribed by applicable laws. Rights of Users and Legal Representatives and How to Exercise Them Users may view or correct their registered personal information at any time and may also request the termination of their membership. To view or modify personal information, users may click “Edit Personal Information” (or “Modify User Information”), and to withdraw consent or terminate membership, users may select “Delete Account” and proceed with the identity verification process to access, correct, or delete their information directly. Alternatively, users may contact the Personal Information Manager via written request, phone, or email, and the Clinic will take prompt action. If a user requests correction of erroneous personal information, the Clinic will not use or provide the information until the correction is completed. If incorrect information has already been provided to a third party, the Clinic will notify the third party without delay to ensure that the correction is made. Personal information that has been deleted or whose retention has been terminated at the user’s request will be handled in accordance with the “Retention and Use Period of Personal Information” and will not be viewed or used for any other purpose. Installation, Operation, and Refusal of Automatic Personal Information Collection Tools (Cookies) The Clinic uses cookies, which store and retrieve user information as needed. Cookies are small text files sent from the server operating the website to the user’s browser and stored on the user’s computer hard drive. The Clinic uses cookies for the following purposes: Purpose of Using Cookies Analyzing the frequency of visits and duration of visits by users and non-users; Identifying users’ preferences and areas of interest, and tracking usage patterns; Determining event participation and visit counts; Providing targeted marketing and personalized services. (the “Operating Company” or “Commissioned Company”). Under the responsibility of the Operating Company, the Clinic's data is stored on the Operating Company’s servers. Stored information may be used for marketing purposes, including: 1. Notifications of the Clinic’s events and announcements 2. Reservation status and treatment ticket usage 3.
